Day 12, 13 and 14.

Hi guys, so sorry for the late blogging.

Well there's not really much to say apart from the next 3 days was more or less exactly the same.

Apart from day 12 friday night I went to the cinema and had my pick and mix. Only £3 worth though.

I do love my fridays and I will always go for my favourite noodles freshly made obviously, and my pick and mix at the cinema. There is nothing wrong with treating yourself as long as your sensible and watch the portion size.

I will still achieve the body I want and I will still perform to the highest standards, but my friday night will stay! There is nothing wrong with this.

If you can train hard, you can play hard as well! Its all about having a well balanced life!

Day 8 of week 2!!

Hi.
Well here I am at the start of week 2 and I am still in bed.

Not a very good start as I am very bunged up with the flu. But hey, its all part of the process like I keep on saying.

I just can't wait to feel 100% again so I can feel great and get on the training and nutrition.

In this week I am going to ease my way back into the training. Training once a day with a 2day break.

Nutrition will consist of both carbs simple and complex with protein and good fats! I will be easing my way back on the carbs and having them all in the daytime before 3pm.

After week 2 is over, week 3 will be more structured with a proper master plan!

Day 7 is finally finished. I had soup this afternoon and soup again in the evening.

Had a bit of salmon aswel. Not really meant to have any meat but I felt like having a little.

Tomorrow is a new day. After this detox I am suppose to be vegetarian for a few days before I introduce meat.

I've decided not to do this. I will introduce carbs slowly and meats. My main goal is to increase lean quality muscle while still reducing body fat!

Day 7 done!
Detox done!
Its game time!

Day 6 over!!

Hi guys!

My last day is over. I'm getting off this detox tomorrow. Well kind of;

Tomorrow I will just have fresh home made soup and plenty of water throughout the day.

Its very important to introduce food back in to your diet gradually as your digestive system will not be use to solids straight away.

Which is the reason why soup is the best option as its in liquid form.

Day 6 over.

Fat; 15.6%

Now compare it with my weight and body fat on monday...
Pretty good right?

But even man flu cannot get to me! Nothing will stop and get in my way! That's exactly what I said when I created the X-Train brand!

My head and body can pound all it wants to! My throat is soar! I don't care! Like they say, 'NO PAIN' 'NO GAIN!'

Day 5 of the cleanse!

Today was the hardest day so far! 18 clients today, so for me that's a quite day!

Hard because I'm feeling the effects of the detox, 'MAN FLU!' My throat hurts, my head hurts and my body is aching all over! This is the healing process. Perfectly normal!

I'm determined to carry on as I no the end results is going to be very beneficial!

Most people at this point would have quit by now. Mainly because they don't know what they have put themselves through nor do they have a clue why they started this!

Guys you need to understand this is NOT A WEIGHTLOSS DIET!!!! It is a DETOX!!! And it takes a special kind of person who is mentally prepared and mentally strong to do this kind of detox!

The health benefits of this detox is phenomenal! So guys if u want to start this, do some extra reading please and find out what its really all about and whether its for you or not!

Day 5 over!
I'm determined to get results. No room for weakness or failure! BRING ON DAY 6!

Maple syrup may treat diabetes...

Hi guys I have completed day 4 with no problems what so ever!

I trained hardcore once in the afternoon. Having my first detox tea as I write this.

Also while doing some extra studying I've come across this interesting article below; This interesting article about Maple syrup was published in March 2011...
Have a read...
Researcher says she has discovered 34 new beneficial compounds in pure maple syrup from Quebec -- five of which have never been seen in nature.

Navindra Seeram of the University of Rhode Island also confirmed that 20 maple syrup compounds she discovered last year in preliminary research play a key role in human health.

"I continue to say that nature is the best chemist, and that maple syrup is becoming a champion food when it comes to the number and variety of beneficial compounds found in it," Seeram said in a statement.

"It's important to note that in our laboratory research we found that several of these compounds possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which have been shown to fight cancer, diabetes and bacterial illnesses."

Seeram and Chong Lee, a professor of nutrition and food sciences at the University of Rhode Island's College of the Environment and Life Sciences, found maple syrup phenolics -- the beneficial antioxidant compounds -- inhibit two carbohydrate hydrolyzing enzymes that are relevant to type 2 diabetes.

Among the five new compounds is Quebecol, a compound created when the Maple tree sap is boiled to create syrup.

"Quebecol has a unique chemical structure or skeleton never before identified in nature," Seeram said. "There is beneficial and interesting chemistry going on when the boiling process occurs. I believe the heat forms this unique compound."

The findings were taken at the 241st American Chemical Society's National Meeting in Anaheim, Calif.

End of day 3 of the cleanse!!

Day 3 done!

Trained just the once; well I wouldn't really class that as a training session as I only went hill walking for 20mins.

Managed through 4 bottles of mixture! Still not good enough as I need at least 5 or 6 per day!! Must be better tomorrow.

Biggest test so far was going cinema today with the girlfriend. I must admit I do love my bag of pick and mix! So this was my hardest test so far. But got through it, no problem!

Felt good and pretty energetic throughout the day. But only now my feelings and emotions are starting to change a little. I feel quite low and a bit angry. Not being able to eat is getting quite depressing. But this is only going to make me more determined to get through it! No room for failures in my life! Never did no what that word meant!

Day 3 over and out!
Bring on day 4 dammit!

I couldn't get the other two in as I put way too much pepper in which my stomach could not handle! I was literally feeling sick!

Trained with Atul my 3.30pm client. Training for the first 10days is meant to be light only.
2000m run.
Weights; Just 2sets of all the main compound exercises. Upper body only.

Day 2 of the Master Cleanse...

Had my first bottle of the cleanse mixture this morning at 6.15am. It was disgusting! I heaved after every sip!

But don't let this put you off. As it was my fault for putting way too much of the cayenne pepper! Oh well I guess I'll have to deal with it now.

My energy levels feels fine. I'm planning to have 5 bottles of the mixture today. It is best to make the mixture fresh on the day.

Mixture;
Bottle mineral water
Add 2 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
2 tablespoon of Grade B pure maple syrup.
Pinch of Cayenne pepper.

Follow the X-Train Coach through the next 7 days of detox

Hi there! I'm Jay Patel The managing director of X-Train UK Personal Training Company.

Join me for the next 12 weeks where I will be sharing with you the secrets of my training and diet for great fat loss results and gaining lean muscle mass.

My education on the methods that I am using has come from all over the world starting from the UK to Europe to across the States to all the way down under in Oz. Not forgetting Thailand where I found the wonders of coconut oil and coconut milk and fight style training in sticky humid conditions!

For the last five months I have just been focusing on bulking up. Whilst doing this I gained a good amount of body fat around my mid-section(not good). The reason for this is so I can show my clients and random gym members what it takes to lose the fat and to look and feel great! It aint going to be an easy journey but I can guarantee results and defiantly will be worth it.

How I bulked up and gained fat at the same time!
Trained 6 times a week consisting;
3 days heavy weights
2 days light cardio
1 swim

Food;
I still ate my good foods such as veg/salad, lean meats, nuts, fish, eggs etc.

Along with all the bad carbs such as;
Bread, Pasta, Chips, Pizza, Crisps, Puddings etc!

My very last bad meal was;
Bowl of white pasta full of dressing.
A jumbo bag of doritos.
A double decker.
Lamb curry with 5 chappatis and white rice!

Mission to fatten up; Accomplished!

Being a Personal Trainer I have always kept in shape! For the last few years my fat was always under 12%. My lowest being 6.5%!

These are my stats today 1/08/11;
Weight: 84.6kg.
Body Fat: 18.6%
Muscle mass: 70.6%
Body water: 57.0%
Girth Measurements:
Neck: 14.5 inches
Chest: 41 inches
Waist/Hip: 92 cm

Left Bicep/Forearm: 15/11.75 inches
